Whilst it isn’t a requirement of the Club to request a handicap certificate, Stanmore is an established course and as such players must have the ability to play at a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and that of other players on the course at the same time. We take pace of play very seriously at Stanmore, all golfers are expected to keep the course moving along promptly and call following groups through if the group ahead is lost.

“Played a few times as a guest and now become a flexible member. One of the best courses I have played around Middlesex. Very well maintained and great course layout, providing a challenge for all abilities. Hole 7, 8 and 9 are great - like a mini Amen Corner!”
Ajay Patel
“One of the best courses I have played. Every hole has its own character and presents a challenge to any golfer. Good club house and reasonably priced food and drinks. Definitely warrants a return visit.”
Alan Miller
“Played here today and was very impressed. Course was in excellent condition. Members were very friendly and pace of play was good despite being busy.”
