Dear Lee,

On behalf of the Colt clubs who participated can I thank you for hosting the event and apologise again on behalf of those Clubs who committed and then withdrew at short notice, making life difficult for all of us.

Your agreement to continue, despite reduced numbers was most appreciated. On behalf of the Colt members, I must say that we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. I personally thought the course was in excellent condition and the views alone would make me want to return.

Please pass on our thanks to your green staff and caterers for an excellent meal and to your management for allowing us to use the facilities.

I will endeavour to find a suitable Colt course venue for next year and hope to meet up again then.

Alan, a big THANK YOU to yourself and all the staff at Stanmore Golf Club for making

our annual golf day, last Friday, a big success for the second year running.

We were blessed with perfect weather and the course was in superb condition.

The facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean. All the staff were polite and helpful.

The lads were unanimous in wanting to book again for next year. We have pencilled

in the 30th September but will confirm that in the new year.

I would like to let you know how much we appreciated the Society Day last Friday. The day was well organised, the meal was excellent and everything proceeded in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and of course the golf course was in great condition. Even the weather held off.

Can I pass on our thanks to the organisers and congratulate them on a shrewd piece of initiative. We will look forward to return for a Society Day hopefully sometime early in the New Year.

A quick line to say a big thank you for last tuesday.

What a fantastic day we had. the course was superb in every way, the professional was very helpful, the green staff courteous on the course. The office staff made the booking easy and the changes of numbers were dealt with no fuss.

The catering staff were first class. Best bacon rolls, lovely lunch and a first class dinner. (That chef needs to be tied up with a long contract.)

Everything seemed to be so much better than any course we have been to for years, and although I have always thanked the staff on the day I have never been compelled to write to thank before.

We have a meeting every February to discuss venues for the 7 dates and I was told by members to forget any talk of not returning to you.

I personally didn't win a thing, I couldn't putt to save my life, scored a lowly 25 points but had a top NTGGS day. And to top it all no rain!
