The Ladies Texas Scramble, took place on Monday, 5 May. We put out 16 teams, despite many members being unavailable because of the bank holiday weekend. A total of
£500 was raised in aid of the locker room fund. Well done to Vice-captain Anna Hannigan for the work she put into organising this event and thank you to all of those who helped and took part on the day. Thanks also to the caterers for dishing up a delicious barbeque afterwards which went down very well. Congratulations to the winning team: Margaret Hunt, Geoff Carr, Eddie Hannigan and Martin Lee.

Changes to the Balland's Trophy and Dina Trophy: It has been agreed by the committee that The Balland's Trophy will be played as a one-day competition in the autumn, from October 2015 onwards. This decision was made after much discussion and consideration based on how few entries there were into this year's competition. The committee will notify you nearer the time as a reminder.
The Dina Trophy will now be played off 3/4 handicap as of next season and not 7/8. Both of these decisions were agreed after consultation with the donators of the trophies.
Unfortunately, Stanmore ladies were knocked out of this year's Mail on Sunday singles competition at home (3/2) by Hendon, on Saturday, 3 May. On a more positive note, congratulations to Terry and Hema who are through to the next round of The Mail on Sunday Foursomes after beating Sudbury at home.
Well done to the Pearson's Team who won their most recent match away at Enfield. Read the full Pearson's story so far on the noticeboard in the locker room.

A look behind the curtain...
It appears that a selection of items have gathered in the drying area, behind the curtain in the locker room. Please note that this space is solely for the use of drying wet golfing gear and should only be used on a temporary basis. Once items have dried out, please remove and store in your lockers or take home, so as to free up space for other users. Thanks for your cooperation.
Please note that the date of the Half day Invitation, has been changed from Wednesday, 13 August to Thursday, 21 August. This is due to a clash with the mixed evening golf and a ladies' friendly fixture on Thursday, 14 August.
