Stanmore Professionals
James Reynolds has been our resident professional since
autumn 2003, following in the footsteps of some of the most famous golf professionals of their generation - club maker J Cuthbert
and more recently Viv Law who was at Stanmore for over 40 years.
James has been coaching for fifteen years and his relaxed approach and easy to understand
coaching style has lead to effectively working with beginners, handicap golfers, elite players and professionals with first-rate
success.
PGA qualified professional Adam Connaughton has been
at Stanmore since 1999. Working his way through the junior ranks he turned pro in 2005 after a successful spell in the Middlesex
county squad. Adam is a qualified PGA instructor and competes on the PGA east region and in national PGA events
PGA qualified professional David Bunker has been at Stanmore since 2006. Also a past Middlesex county player
he also turned professional in 2005. David is a qualified PGA instructor working with a variety of players at Stanmore golf
club and also competes on the PGA east region and in national PGA events.
Pro-Shop
In the shop you will be given a warm welcome by our three
PGA professionals, who can offer advice and assistance whether it be on what driver to buy or how to cure that persistent
slice. The range of services and products available caters for all abilities of golfers and includes both the latest
golfing technology and up to date golfing fashion.
The shop is fully stocked; the prices are extremely competitive
comparing favorably with high street golf stores and Internet sites. refreshments and snacks are available together with tea,
coffee, soup and hot chocolate. A wide range of repair services are available at affordable prices particualry to clubs, trolleys
and shoes.
Tee times can be booked over the phone or in person. Buggies and trolleys are available for hire.
For golf societies we are pleased to organize prizes for your golf day. We also offer arranging logo branding of balls, t
shirts and other items you desire. Nearest the pin and longest drive markers can be provided and placed at holes of your choice.
Custom Fitting
Another service we offer is the custom
fitting of new golf clubs which has become highly popular in recent times. James is a Titleist and Cobra authorized club fitter
here at stanmore golf club. Fitting appointments can be booked with James and his staff who offer a professional service in
determining individual specifications and measurements of clubs for all players.
